Wow, What a Fireplace

When I first met with these homeowners, they were still completing their Rec room.  They didn’t have any furniture to put in it for showings, but we figured the room was stunning enough,  that buyers could easily see themselves living in the space.

Unfinished Room

The laminate barn board flooring was in keeping with the country setting of the home. It’s durable, attractive and comfortable on your feet.  The flooring also had to be practical since this is a major traffic flow out to the hot tub.  Filling the built-in book shelves gave the dark wood some depth.  The homeowners installed the large TV to show buyers how they could utilize the space.

A few candle lanterns were all that was needed.  The rustic feel works perfectly.

The combination of the stone and the tree log are incredible.  Adding a nature inspired canvas on the mantle was simple and effective.  It was nice to be able to just rest it on the mantle instead of drilling a hole into the stone.

Attention to Details

The wet bar speaks for itself, but it’s fun to add a few little accessories to give it a personal feel.
